この製品は、灰汁のみで藍を建て科学的な薬品を用いずに古代からの伝統を受け継いだ藍草を用い丹念に染め上げています。
藍には消臭効果や虫よけ効果があるとされ、藍色は平安時代までは宮廷や上流貴族が身に着ける高貴な色とされていたのですが、江戸時代には広く使われるようになり、時世界では「ジャパン・ブルー」と呼ばれ日本を象徴する色となりました。
 
正絹の極細の絞りが美しく映えるこのショールは、和装にも洋装にも合わせやすく、肩にふわりと羽織っても、半分に畳んで首元に巻いても上品な印象に。
