"The Great Wave off Kanagawa"
Hokusai's masterpiece and world-famous painting, "Kanagawa Okinami Ura (The Graet Wave off Kanagawa)" is a motif of this huge kichō (width 6.5mx height 3m)
Elder and experienced craftsmen and young craftsmen work together to create this work, and each process is photographed and recorded in order to lead to the succession of technology.
From design to final sewing, the work is completed through more than 56 processes.
